Problems, Problems, Problems

UGH.............. It's that time of year when the kids have a little touch of cabin fever and can't seem to keep their mind on school.

My class was in BIG trouble today and they know why. My problem is what to do about it. I'll admit I am feeling slightly unsure of what I should be teaching right now. We are kind of at that in between stage.

I hope my class sees this and understands that behavior has to improve!!!!!!

I am frustrated with everyone.

These kits were donated to all my students.

No sew pillows were a hit with my students.

Hi to all my students, I wish you would blog more!!

We have had a great end of 2006 in room 306. We made pillows and birdhouses to give away as gifts and really enjoyed making them. We have now completed the second quarter of the year and are looking forward to Spring Break!!

We are back from Christmas break and ready to begin the learning process. As a teacher I have a New Year's Resolution and it is to do more student led activities rather than teacher led lectures. What's your resolution? Leave your comments!

My kids enjoying their snow day with some friends.

SNOW DAY!!!!!!!

Did you enjoy your snow day as much as I did? I took my kids sledding and then we drank hot chocolate at home and watched movies all evening. It was really fun....

I am sure glad we got a snow day this year. What did you do on your snow day?

Turkey Bowl
Adam, my youngest son, went turkey bowling at his cub scout meeting on Wednesday. They used really little frozen turkeys to knock down pins. It was fun. Here is a picture of him, doesn't he look cute????

Basketball Weekend

Well I had a busy weekend, Hannah is playing for Miss Koz's basketball team and they had practice on Firday and two games on Saturday. They play at the south city family YMCA. It was fun even though they lost both games. Most of the team are 5th graders and they play against 7/8 th graders. Mikel is on the team too and she played really well making two free throws and a basket in the second game.

How was your weekend? What did you do?
